Peace is the Way: A Journaling Workshop to Transform Suffering (August 10th-September 7th)

$150.00

Human instinct is to flee suffering, yet suffering is a quality of being human and being alive. While we can avoid some forms of suffering, we cannot avoid others. The relationships we develop with the suffering we cannot control is integral to our quality of life.

Peace is the Way: A Journaling Workshop to Transform Suffering is a 5-week workshop where attendees read and discuss Thich Nhat Hahn’s book No Mud, No Lotus: The Art of Transforming Suffering. In tandem with group discussion, Dr. Mitch James will teach expressive writing techniques meant to help attendees establish a healthy relationship with past, present, and future sources of suffering.

The class will meet every Monday from 5-7 pm (EDT) from August 10th-September 7th. Attendees are encouraged to have with them a journal, pen, and a copy of Thich Nhat Hahn’s book No Mud, No Lotus: The Art of Transforming Suffering.

After you enroll, you will be asked to provide an email. Once you do, you will receive at that address an email from mitch_james@thewritemethodsllc.com. This email will contain a Google Meets link as well as other important information.
